Noble Giving

Buddha himself taught that Dana Paramita—Noble Giving, generosity without strings attached—is the very first of the Ten Cardinal Virtues or Transformative Practices
(Paramitas) of Mahayana Buddhism. He often stated that the donor and the practitioner are like two horses yoked together and get there together, on the great Way of Awakening.
